Switzerland - Arts - Fête des Vignerons
The preparations for the first Fete des Vignerons of this millennium is well on it's way, and on Monday actors and technician tested parts of the show in front of invited guests and media.
The Fête des Vignerons - Winegrower's festival - has been celebrated in the swiss city of Vevey since 1797 and happens only five times per century or less. The last time the festival was celebrated was in 1999.
The celebration convert the inner city market square to a 40.000 seat arena, with different theatrical shows every night for one week. The price tag is about 100 million swiss franc.
